How do you open a present?

today's going to be a SHORT one. (:

The scenario:

You got a present from a friend. A present that is first carefully wrapped in a wrapping paper, followed by ribbon tied around it.

A) Just tear everything apart right from the start

B) Remove the ribbon carefully first, followed by the wrapping paper. But halfway through, it gets troublesome and you start to tear it apart

the end of week 12.
all my tutorials ended already!! HEEE.
left only a 10min consultation with simon on mon. HUR.
to be truthful,
it feels kinda sad that the tutorials ended already.
compared to last sem,
the tutorials this sem were much more fun. (:
got to know quite a number of new friends too....

During the Japanese 4 lecture today,
Walker sensei talked about the remaining language mods that we can take next sem..
think i'll most prob continue with Japanese 5.
but Business Japanese sounds more practical huh...
just that i think i'll go crazy with the keigo. =.=
hmmmmm...
but it seems that almost half of the people are going to graduate this sem.
so means...
the Japanese 5 cohort is going to be like REALLY SMALL.
and when i finally got to be a little closer with some of them too....


Got back to watching Gintama after a long break from it.
HAHAHAHA!!
This time, there's this relatively long arc about the fights between otakus to become the official fan club of this lady singer... (whose songs seriously sucks btw..)
and somehow...
whatever thiam huat said about otakus floated to my mind...
why is it that the images of otakus are always guys?
why is it that when both a girl and a guy does the same thing,
it's the guy that we think is the otaku?
pretty weird huh. HAHAHAHA.

then... i realised...
NOOOOOO!!!!
i don't want to think about such topics when watching GINTAMA!!
it's not the purpose of me watching it... =.=
i'm SUPPOSED to be ENJOYING and laughing my head off!

got back my literature review and the peer review today.
to be honest,
i'm TOTALLY shocked by the comments given for the lit review.
think Simon really graded it VERY LENIENTLY.
LOL. really thought that it was a piece of crap.
but well, still glad that it was good enough for him. HEEE.
no offense against high grades. =X

As for the peer review....
i haven't read through it.
LOL. feels kind of scary~~
I always had this problem of seeing what others wrote about my work.
somehow....
just not very comfortable with it.
think i just have a really low confidence in my work.
well, not that i can help it...
mostly last minute works.... =X

in any case,
shall take this chance to really train myself up to accept criticisms.
seems like an important skill to equip myself with.

okay. a random change in topic...
have any of you guys heard about OPENTROLLEY.COM?

it's quite a nice online shop. FOR BOOKS. XD
and from what i think,
the books there are pretty reasonably priced.
and it's convenient too! at least more convenient than going down to kino.
HAHA. but still, kino is a MUST GO for comics! (:

anyway,
i have been browsing through their catalog these days
and i finally decided.
i shall try out NORA ROBERT's books.
those romance fantasy genres of hers. XD
any nice recommendations?
i'm seriously having a lack of books to read.
(although readings are PILING UP HIGH...)
and after all the trouble i went through to shelf my comics...
don't really feel like taking them out again to read.
HAHAHA. although i know i will... sometime in the near future.


I'm currently waiting patiently for my group mate's part of the report to be sent to me.
not that i'm complaining though. HAHA.
cos i really think that she has been doing a lot more for the report. =X
sense of guilt creeping in on me...

HEEE. for the first time...

i thought "WOW. the dance's nice~~"

LOL. somehow, NEWS dances have never been really the cool kind.
KAT-TUN's ones were much better to be honest.
but this time, i really loved the dance. HOHOHOHO.
the song's pretty nice too!
and i realised something new....
Tegoshi's voice is REALLY BEAUTIFUL~~ XD
although i'm still a fan of YAMAPI. WUAHAHAHA.


feel so happy that MH liked OURAN.
HAHAHA!
somehow have this sense of accomplishment. HEEE.

it feels good to be sharing something that you like with others. XD
and even better when that someone also likes it.


okay. a random thought.
think i may taking up francais next sem. LOLOL.
but i bet i'll forget everything after returning from the SEP.

still in the midst of consideration. HEEE.

learning a new language alone is pretty lonesome...
and well,
on a practical note...
at least you can practice it with someone you know. =X


languages somehow attracts me a lot more than any other stuff.
maybe cos it makes me feel that i'm more sophisticated by knowing a language that others don't? LOLOLOL.
what a vain reason to learn languages.
it just feels more enriching when you can speak in more lanaguages.

今週はやっと終わった。

私ここまでの人生で最悪の一週間だ。

でも、実はね、私は今度のプロジェトにあまり手伝わなかった。

だから、本当に心からティームメートを感謝する。

できたばかりの友達はもすぐ卒業から、ちょっと寂しいね。

こんな生活はやはり大学らしいだね。

私は今残した時間でゆっくり楽しいで過ぎるつもりだ。

いい記憶を作るために。

finally went past this HORRIBLE week. HAHA.
although things are not really going to be DRASTICALLY better over the next week weeks... BUT. nevertheless, it' still BETTER.

finally got my JLPT cert. HEEE.
all thanks to AMY. HAHA. MUACKS.
seems that i've been kind of like bullying her all this time... =X
but hey! this shows that we're close right? HUR HUR.


anyway, finished 2 of my projects this week.
So, just a few moments of gratitude. (:

realised that i just love songs which have violin in it.
violin gives a classic feel to the song.
and it's just PERFECT for songs that have a melancholic feel. +D


HOWEVER,
i'll still prefer SAXOPHONE over it. WUAHAHAHA.
and talking about saxophone...
AIBA actually plays it! GOSH.
a whole new level of sexiness added. XDD
