Finally,
I get to do something fangirl-ish in Singapore.
HAHA.
Of cos I went for private movie screenings which cost like more than double the amount for a normal movie..
but that's not the point.
LOL.
Going to the airport and kyaaaa-ing away at the sight of my idol...
そういうの、なんか憧れてたよなぁ...

I wonder how many people will be there at the airport...

J-Rock Matters 2013 ♥♥♥
A little late with my post but...
J-ROCK MATTERS 2013 WAS TRULY AMAZING!

Of cos, the fact that it was free made it all the more better.~(^◇^)/ぎゃはは
Both performances were really great!
The atmosphere was just HIGH, HIGH and HIGH!!
Can't believe that I got to hear USO live in my life~
The whole concert at the center fountain stage ended at about 10.45pm and EVERYONE rushed towards Beer Market for the secret live. LOL! Which was apparently really a secret.
The queue was LONG!
The 2nd concert was supposed to start at around 11pm with Weaver but we couldn't get in by then. (＿TдT)
The place had already reached it maximum capacity by then... Filled by people who left after Flumpool's performance at the center stage.
Beer Market's staff came out repeatedly telling us that it is pretty much a futile effort to continue waiting since they'll not let us in if no one leaves but STILL.
WE WAITED. AND WAITED. AND WAITED.
And 皇天不负苦心人, we actually got in! LOL!
At about 1am.ブワッハハ!(▼▽▼)人(▼▽▼)ブワッハハ!!
So with a $10 first drink entrance fee, we ENTERED! with a Heineken bottle in hand.
Just in time for Flumpool's 2nd song~ (○゜ε^○)v ィェィ♪
Apparently, there were some technical glitches so the performances were delayed.
LOL! How lucky we were~ (￣▽￣)うへへへぇ～
The sight in there was BREATHLESS.
THEY WERE SO CLOSE.
LIKE. CLOSE.
CLOSE.
That seemingly forever wait outside Beer Market instantly became more than worthwhile.
Just for this sight.
This totally made me wanna go for live house performances in Japan at least once in my lifetime.
An atmosphere and feeling that can never be achieved in domes and stadiums. But of cos, if it's my Arashi it's a different story.

Ryuta was TOTALLY CHARMING ♥♥♥
He just looked to be enjoying himself so much that it was really contagious. That joy and happiness overflowing from him.
They performed a total of 5 to 6 songs if i remember correctly. HAHA!
Was way too high to really go pay attention to such things.
The last song was 証 (akashi) which made everyone screammmmm like mad. Including me.
LOL! Their collaboration with Mayday really did have an impact.
We waited for about another 40mins? Time just seemed to pass so SLOWLY when waiting for dear SID to make their appearance.
LOL! Got so fed up seeing the assistants tuning their instruments over and over again. XD
BUT AT 3AM approximately, SID appeared!
Everyone in Beer Market became instantly energized. HAHA!
What an amazing ambiance considering the time.
Or maybe everyone one else was just used to staying up late.
In any case~ SID was so cute!
HAHA. Mao trying his best to speak in English and got all insecure as to whether what he said got through to us. He seemed to be particular concerned about his intonation. LOL.
But everyone were so nice. Shouting for him to 頑張れ.
In the end, he sorta gave up on speaking English (while complaining how hard he tried to learn it)...
They even had a short interval where each member introduced themselves. Totally MAO's 無茶振り.
LOL. And they ganged up against the drummer Yuuya. XD
Ignoring his existence and saying that SID will now continue as a 3-piece band.
(≧∇≦)ブハハハ!
OMG. How I love the drummer. LOL. He's just too cute.
He protested by making a lot of noise with his drums. AHAHA.
There was also a last minute encore for SID. HAHA!
They totally looked troubled by the enthusiasm for a moment. XD
BUT, in the end the producer (?), anyway, the person-in-charge gave the OKAY sign.
HAHAHA. Mao was saying how they will continue with it anyway, even though he will get scolded. LOL.
The whole place went sooooo high with the last song.
Like really high. HAHA!
A truly befitting ending to a great night.
It was just such an enjoyable night for me. Although I died on the way home in the cab.
LOL! Still, a precious experience and memory that will definitely last.
SID promised to be back and so, I'll be waiting!
Hopefully before I fly off to Japan next year!

what an otona feel when travelling.
After the trip in June, my next one will be in October!

Will be having some lessons and meeting up with senpais at that time I guess.
Can't believe that there is actually an official meeting with seniors though.

a-too-random-for-a-title post
I'm bored.
But luckily, it's Friday.
Wanted to post this a few days ago but got really busy after that so.. =/
*drew this out of boredom*
My doodling skills deteriorated so much. (╯︵╰,)
Need to practice more! HAHA. during work.
Wondering if I should be more active at work or just let them stay as they are right now, which isn't really good in my opinion but... there's definitely communication gap here.
Can totally understand what it means for something to be 根深蒂固.
Feel like helping them revamp the whole system but still... it just too troublesome.
Shall just 埋没 the Virgo side of me nowヽ( ´¬`)ノ
Watched Platina Data twice
And to be honest. It wasn't really that great a movie...
Well, guess the hype over it made me had too high an expectation from it.
But still, I liked it. HAHA! Biased maybe...
The ending was good. Kinda long since I had a movie which didn't have an ending that killed it.
Watching it at filmgarde was really.. just for the atmosphere. LOL.
Seeing how desperate Singapore fans are...
It was just... hilarious. HAHA. But I can't say that I'm not like them though. XD
Just interesting how fans view one another.
And oh yes.
I'm finally going to graduate. I hope.
LOL. still have to wait for the results to be out before I can 松一口气.

Can't believe that my study life is going to end just like this.
No more research papers!!!!!!!!!!!!! 〜(￣▽￣〜)
That is definitely the most torturing part of uni life.
Aside from that, I really loved my uni life. So much more than JC.
I guess I will miss the studying days but still, i'm looking forward to becoming a 社会人.
頑張りまーす！(`･ω･´)ゞ
Shall go back to translating magazines in office the next time I'm this bored :D
Time to contribute something back to the fan community. LOL.
Although I doubt anyone is really visiting that page of mine. HAHA.
But still, a fruitful way of killing time. XD
Looking forward to the graduation ceremony! ^^ and my pay day every month!

感動的な一日
Finally into the last spurt for the thesis.
Really thought of finishing the editing today but..
Oh well, gave up on trying to save money so shall just give myself more time to work on it.
Had a really nice dinner with the people from Legenda and my future 仕事仲間...
Was at a really... atas place though. LOL!
My first time at Dempsy.
Me got lost though. 相変わらずに...
But still, it was nice meeting my fellow future-colleague.
She's from NUS too! There's common friends too. LOL!
AND AND AND...
She's a pretty passionate ARASHI FAN too! HAHA! <-- i="">the most important fact

OH! and the Legenda guys..
Kakkoi! LOL.
One of them's married so awwww...
But not so sure about the other one. XDDD
Tall and gentlemanly and humorous... WUAKAKAKAKA.
I'm pretty sure he's taken already so lets stop the fantasizing here. LOL.

Himitsu no Arashi-chan officially ends today.
After 5 years of entertainment.
It just feels so sad and real when they ACTUALLY followed the share-house setting..
Getting all packed up and leaving the keys behind as they exit...
Seeing them remembering the past while going through the items left behind just made it all the more difficult to acknowledge that this bangumi is ending.
Mannequin 5, Ranking Derby, V.I.P Room, Last Mission...
Himitsu no Arashi-chan have definitely brought much joy to my life.
I'm so going to miss seeing all 5 of them on Thursday night.
Thursday has always been such a day for me to look forward to everyday.
Well, at least I still have VS Arashi...
In any case, it had been a really great bangumi.
And I am really thankful for it...
Will be looking forward to Sho's 活躍 in replacement of Himitsu then! :D
And as usual...
GINTAMA.
Guess this is the anime that I've mentioned the most here. LOL.
It always has such power to make me 激動 enough to want to talk about it here.
A really nice and touching arc just ended. In like 3 episodes?
HAHA! 銀魂らしい...
But still, it was definitely a touching arc. I cried.
Or maybe it was just because I was still feeling a little pent up after Himitsu..
ANYWAY,
IT WAS A GREAT ARC.
It really just makes your heart go all out towards Gintoki.
Just how kakkoi is he going to be?!
And as usual, after all the crying and sadness, it ended with jokes. LOL.
Made my heart light with laughter once again.
And that's why I love Gintama so.
The date of release for the 2nd movie has been announced too!

And we'll finally get to know Gintoki's past!
Definitely going to be a movie that cannot be missed by Gintama fans.

Himitsu no Arashi-chan officially ends today.
After 5 years of entertainment.
It just feels so sad and real when they ACTUALLY followed the share-house setting..
Getting all packed up and leaving the keys behind as they exit...
Seeing them remembering the past while going through the items left behind just made it all the more difficult to acknowledge that this bangumi is ending.
Mannequin 5, Ranking Derby, V.I.P Room, Last Mission...
Himitsu no Arashi-chan have definitely brought much joy to my life.
I'm so going to miss seeing all 5 of them on Thursday night.
Thursday has always been such a day for me to look forward to everyday.
Well, at least I still have VS Arashi...
In any case, it had been a really great bangumi.
And I am really thankful for it...
Will be looking forward to Sho's 活躍 in replacement of Himitsu then! :D

GINTAMA.
Guess this is the anime that I've mentioned the most here. LOL.
It always has such power to make me 激動 enough to want to talk about it here.
A really nice and touching arc just ended. In like 3 episodes?
HAHA! 銀魂らしい...
But still, it was definitely a touching arc. I cried.
Or maybe it was just because I was still feeling a little pent up after Himitsu..
ANYWAY,
IT WAS A GREAT ARC.
It really just makes your heart go all out towards Gintoki.
Just how kakkoi is he going to be?!
And as usual, after all the crying and sadness, it ended with jokes. LOL.
Made my heart light with laughter once again.
And that's why I love Gintama so.
The date of release for the 2nd movie has been announced too!

Definitely going to be a movie that cannot be missed by Gintama fans.

最悪なときにの最高なギフト
It's 1am now and poor me still doing my thesis. Haha!
Well, as usual, I didn't manage to fulfill my 'promise' of finishing it by the weekend.
So here I am, halfway through the paper. Lol.
But anyways!
I'm not here to complain about anything today. WUAHAHAHAHA.
Just received the best gift in cheering and motivating me in this worst ever period of time~

ぬらりひょんの孫
I seem to be starting every post these days with...
I SHOULDN'T BE DOING THIS... BUT.
Nurarihyon no Mago is such a nice manga!!!~~~
Watched the anime last year I think, LOL. while I was still in Japan...
Went back to read the manga a few days ago.
Ahhhh~ Sad that it ended this early...
There's still so much more that we fans want from this series..
Romance in particular. HAHA.
Can't stand it. All the 暧昧-ness in the series.
WE WANT LOVEEEEEEEE~
偏偏就是要学日本-style的暧昧情节 ...
The story itself is pretty completed.. though I WOULD REALLY LOVE TO SEE SOME FURTHER DEVELOPMENTS IN THE ROMANCE DEPARTMENT~
Rihan's side story broke my heart.. haaa~
especially after seeing how he cried his heart out in the OVA...
Still, it would have been nice to just have a few episodes dedicated to him...
WHY DID HE DIE SO EARLY!!!!!!
And what about my Rikuo?! Personally prefer him to be with Yura though.
And probably Ryuuji with Mamiru. WUAKAKAKAKAA.
Sorry for my BL outburst. *eh-heh*
And also! Kurotabou!
Ah~ what a handsome yokai. LOL.
It'd be cute seeing him with Natsumi but still.. even I know that it'll all just end up with Natsumi in a one-sided love for him.
This craze of mine over Nurariyon no Mago will be over soon. I know.
LOL. But well, it was still nice to have encountered such a nice manga.
One of the few mangas which had really great supporting characters.
And while I hate to admit it, there were so much space left for fantasizing.
HAHAHA! which I'm sure am one of the reason why I'm blogging now. XD
Okay. Shall fantasize a bit more before returning to my thesis.
Shall complete it within this weekend! I hope. Most probably won't though...

Secured a job at AEON Mall! ♡♡♡
Just went for the interview yst and received the call today! 早すぎる！
But of cos, I'm not complaining. Haha!
Saved me from 2 weeks of hell. (;^ω^)
In any case, guess I'll most likely be accepting it.
Although my parents don't seem really happy about it...
Keep harping on how I'll lose out on my cpf, how the pay I'm getting is too little for working overseas, how I won't be able to save, yada yada yada... -_-
Still, I think I'm just too lazy to go through the whole motion of looking for a job already, LOL!
It's still gonna be a long time before I start work and so!
Let's concentrate on graduating first! (/'ω')/

步步惊心，
终于看完了。
是一部把个个角色都描写得很好的戏，
虽说还是有点受不了若曦与她姐姐。
这么就得把每一位阿哥都写得如此凄惨可悲？
最让我倾心的是十四阿哥。
尊敬的是十三阿哥。
同情怜悯的是八阿哥。
对四阿哥却没什么感觉。
不过，不管怎么说，还挺庆幸自己看了这一部戏。
让我从新发现到华语是一个多么美丽，多么深奥的语言。
这也难怪古装恋爱剧始终还是中国/香港的好。
听说将会有步步惊心II 现代篇。
虽认为少了那古色古香的言辞语法将会让第二部失去挺多的魅力，
但还是会期待几位阿哥们如何与爱人再续前缘。
步步惊心的结局留下了这三句词：
第一最好不相见，如此便可不相恋。
第二最好不相知，如此便可不相思。
第三最好不相伴，如此便可不相欠。
在网上寻找那几句话的解释时，让我读到了一篇写得极美的感想。
观之再三，掩卷长思，不得不说，这其实是最好的结局

This nasty feeling
I wonder what's wrong with me this semester.
Have I really changed that much in that one year stay in Japan?
I seem to have a serious problem in being unable to trust myself that I am producing something which is of SOME QUALITY.
Okay. Confidence issues I guess.
What a bad time to have this problem when I'm trying to readjust back to NUS.
Want to just hand in whatever I've done,
but can't seem to be able to forgive myself for doing that.
(or maybe I'm just afraid of the consequences)
Still, I'm sick and tired of feeling this way.
Is this what people refer to as being stressed out?
If it is so, then I can safely say that I finally understand what being stressed feels like.
It's just really, the bad type of stress in my opinion.
Guess things will eventually return back to normal.
I'm missing the dear old optimistic me.
Hope to be able to see you again.

Bakemonogatari バケモノガタリ
New Discovery today! :D
Found this anime titled Bakemonogatari.
Quite an interesting anime.
Only watched the first episode but it has totally captured my attention.
The style reminds me of The Girl who Leapt Through Time and Summer Wars.
Japanese myths and superstitions seem to be the main theme of this anime.
In any case,
a nice break from the usual ones I guess. ^^
Found this anime titled Bakemonogatari.

Just a stupid rant
Okay
Hell is just around the corner.
In 2 weeks time.
Hope I can survive it.
Well, of cos I can. Just a matter of how well I can.
Reports, presentations, grades.
How dull can life be.
Okay. Probably in dazzling colours for scholars but definitely not for me.
But still, I will survive this semester.
I know I will. How bad can it even go.
Deadlines are coming.
And so is arashi's new album.
Always something to look forward to even when life sucks right now.
Back to my kasha. It's ending soon. Hope the ending wouldn't be like shaman king no.2
