today's slightly busier than usual.
which, at times, is kinda good.

Play-Asia just emailed me yesterday,
telling me that my order is unavailable. and so,
CANCELLED!

waited for more than a month for it ler bahs.
well, at least i got my refund.
but but...
that's not the problem!!
i have to now get another present for des lers. -.-
and it's going to be SOOOOO BELATED.

Began reading "The Poet" by Michael Connelly (ARGH, hope i got his name right).

it's of the Triller genre.

and so, there's really quite a high inertia ehs. HAHA.
cant seem to be able to continue reading it after a few chapters.

i FINALLY understood the WHOLE plot of Tsubasa ler. HAHA!

i was kinda agitated when i finished the the latest volume.
and it's indeed true...
Tsubasa and XXXHolic needs to be read at the same time to totally understand what is happening in each of their world.
HAHA! quite a great plot to tie the both together. XD

MAGNIFICENT. HUR HUR!!

i was kind of worried about the plot when it really threw me into like clouds and clouds of confusion. HAHA!
but i had confidence in CLAMP! HAHA!
i'm sure they wont screw it up. :D

and i'm glad that they DIDNT!



Well,
for Fullmetal Alchemist,
there was never any worries. HAHA!
it had maintained a high standard throughout every volume. :D
it's now at the climax of the whole story.
the final showdown between the homoculus and the alchemists.

and well,
the REAL MAIN Masterplot is being slowly revealed,
but i dont think that they have revealed EVERYTHING.
My guess is that the next book will be the book of revelation. HAHA!

I had this really sudden and HUGE urge to pick up my Guzheng again lorr.

was sitting in my dad's car, than all of a sudden wanted to play the Guzheng.
HAHAHA! never did i realise that i missed playing the Guzheng that much.
and i am,
proud that i'm able to play it. HEES.
decided, shall change all the strings, clean it thoroughly and start gathering up scores to play. :D
now,
the biggest problem of all.
i have NO idea where to get the strings and 胶布. -.-
well,
i'll see what comes along then... :D


in any case, i'm determined to start playing it.

Okay,
new drama that i've decided to watch.
well, it's not really NEW lar. HAHA.
it was a 2008 Drama.

anyway,
it's titled "MAOU".
hmmmm. there's actually also a Korean version of it.
but it seems that it wasnt really nice.
Well, Shin-goon played the main character in the Korean version de.
The Jap version,
which apparently, took 4 awards out of 5 nominations it got in the GRAND PIX.
and Satoshi Ohno BEAT Yamapi and got the Best Actor. -.-
可恨！ HAHA! but that means that he did a REALLY GREAT job doesnt it?

anyways, Ikuta Toma's also starring in it! HAHA!
kinda hard to see him acting as a serious person.
Going to slowly enjoy that drama. XD

As for the other more EXCITING one :

The camera zooms out on the whole wreckage on the island,
then turns to focus on the collapse dome where wolverine, sabretooth & deadpool fought each other.
The next thing you'll see is Deadpool's hand sticking out of the rubble,
reaching for his decapitated head.
the camera then pans, and focus of the head.
And suddenly, with the eyes open, the sewed mouth of his opens too...
saying : SHHHHHH.... to the audience.

Out of total boredom today,
i went to read up on the Myanmar's "The Lady" Aung Suu Kyi.
quite an interesting issue to follow on.
HAHA. didnt know that actually Myanmar was the troublesome member in ASEAN.
think mainly it's cos of it's military government.

But that Aung Suu Kyi's really some women.
HAHA! surely she poses a GREAT threat to the Juutas.
and really,
the incident that sparked off this whole issue was kind of...
lame. -.-
some american men swam into her supposedly isolated area,
where she was supposed to be detained in house arrest.
and using this, she was charged of violating the law of house arrest
and may face another 5 years in jail.

well, this 5 years, will cause her to miss the 2010/2011 election in Myanmar.

Ta-da....
doesnt this feels like some 阴谋 brewing behind the whole thing?
HAHA. cos she was supposed to be released from her detention on May 27.

it's causing quite some commotion that led to the attention of the UN.

i actually finished Knife Edge by Malorie Black.
HAHA.
it's de second book in the Noughts & Crosses trilogy.
well. in my opinion,
it's actually better than the first book (Noughts & Crosses) in some areas.
but yet, not as good as the first one in other areas.
HAHA!

but there's something magical about this series. LOL.
and that is,
even though it's not really a nerve wrecking or exciting book,
it's VERY readable. LOL.
there's absolutely little inertia.
HAHA. and just somehow, the book finished! LOL.

the book's mainly about prejudice & discrimination.
but it's definitely not as literature as The Kite Runner. HAHA!
i cant really deal with such literature works.
to be truthful, they bore me out. HUR HUR.
Like A Thousand Splendid Sun. LOL.
Okay. no offence lorr. :D it's deifnitely a nice book,
just that i wasnt able to get past the first half. :P

and they had lobang for it already ler lorr.
cost about $150 for one tailor made suit.
it sounds reasonable to me.

checked out NLB library fines and wondering how to pay them online..
surfed sgcafe for some new events coming up..

and i actually found some really interesting ones!

13th June : D'J Party @ Youth Scape Park
It's mainly a Cosplay & J-rock/pop contest that'll last de whole day.
HAHA. okay. not WHOLE day. but from 12pm to 9pm.
kinda long... HEES.

11th-12th July : CosFest VIII
i'll DEFINITELY be going. HAHA!
it's always fun to see others cosplay.
HUR HUR. as long as it's not myself. LOL.
and there's LOADS of Doushinji Booths. HAHA.
MUST buy something there.


Actually not a lot of events hor.
HAHA. but nvm lar. XD this 2 is enough.


Going to Kinokuniya to 扫书 on 13th June also.

i dig and dig.

i walked OUT of the station to a shop nearby..
bought something. and went back to the station.

it was SOOOOOOO frustrating.

X-men was REALLY SUPERB.

it's been quite some time since i watched an action packed movie..
and this really sparked my interest in it..

now i feel like rewatching the whole trilogy now..


this movie definitely gave Wolverine's character a greater depth.
he's so much more alive than he was in the previous trilogy..
and most importantly...
GAMBIT was in there!!
HAHAHAHA.
oh gosh..
he's such a mysterious guy lorr.
and he's a very skilled man too.
LOL.
he's just so charming with poker cards in his hand. HAHA.

and it's mainly about how he try to keep Atlantis from being discovered..

it seems that they sell comics plastic cover too.
wanna BUY~~
it's selling it at 15 cents each. but minimum has to be 100pcs.
well. that's definitely not enough can.. HAHA.
and i was shocked when i counted the no. of comics i had.
it was reaching 300.
that's like. hmmmm. quite a lot horr. HAHA.
so it's going to cost like 45 bucks for the plastic covers.
and all of a sudden, 15 cents each sounded EXPENSIVE. HAHA.

i feel like watching Harry Potter ehs. LOL
like suddenly.

i realised that i watched the Order of Phoenix lers. HAHA!!
kinda sad huh.. that sad didnt leave a v strong impression on me.
although when i read it up in wiki,

VALKYRIE.

It was a really AMAZING movie.
well.
initially, i couldnt really follow the plans.
HAHA. the pace was really fast. XD
such a contrast to The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

de movie's 2 hour long.
but it definitely didnt feel like 2 hours in the cinema.
the show makes u tensed up from the beginning to the end.
except for a few little heartwarming scenes and jokes.
HAHA.
love the explanation on the BOMB part. LOL.
it was such a enlightening explanation. XD

watched the movie at only 7 bucks ehs. HAHA!!

so next time be sure to watch movies with me. HOHOHOHO.

Valkyrie is jus plain cool larr.

enjoyed it loads.
and as usual,
cried towards de end. HAHA.
anyone with some general knowledge will know how the show would have ended.
it was jus the process of seeing what caused it to end in that way that makes ppl anticipate every next step that they're going to take.
so yea.
if u're planning to watch it.
MUST stay alert when watching it.
jus dream for a lil while and u'll get lost.

Tom Cruise is really shuai.

i'm going to remember de ending for the Black Magician Trilogy for the rest of my life.
it's been such a long time since i was so bothered by the ending.
i cant say that it isnt a good ending or wadever.
it's jus that it sparked off a strong feeling within me.

There's actually a prequel to the Black Magician Trilogy.
Titled The Magician Apprentice or something liddat.
talks about hundred of years before the war started.
it has been released recently in UK i think.
not sure whether Singapore has stocked on it.
and oh yea.
there's also plans for a sequel to the Trilogy.
it's going to be another trilogy.
titled The Traitor's Spy i think.
not sure whether i'll be reading it.
cant even say whether i'm looking forward to it.
it'll only remind me of the ending in The High Lord.

ARGH.
i'm getting too bothered by it.
jus cannot stand those kind of ending.
makes me feel v pek chek.
especially when i've grown to be so attached to the book.
the author really dropped a bomb on me at the end.
read the reason for the ending at her web (which obviously most also feel that strongly for the ending)

cant really blame her for that larr.
she did have a valid point for writing that kind of ending.
it's jus a v regretful ending for me.

most are too ridiculous to even comtemplate whether or not to believe in them.
LOL. the most 不可能的 actually came from Singapore "My Paper".
a newspaper article was cut and posted on the forum
and generally, i think it's talking about akanishi jin on drugs and other vices that i cant be bothered to remember.
the most 好笑 thing is that it's actually a gang of Akanishi Jin's friends which included Yamapi inside and dunno who (mostly celebrities).
so ya.
i've decided. LOL.
until it was really reported on the news, all other rumors shall just be rumors.

i have a urge to start collecting another manga. ><
that's not a v good desire to have isnt it? LOL.

super tired today.

i wonder why,
but it made me v agitated after reading it.
LOL. in the good sense.
currently in the Book Three of the Black Magician Trilogy.
which is btw, the last book in the series.
well...
the main plot actually started in the first book,
then it was expended on in the second,
and now the truth & conclusion in the third.

From the 2nd book, i started having doubts about the plot.
and yea. it turned out to be how i guessed it in the third book.
The twist the book used was actually kinda common in comics.
HAHA. not sure abt books. havent read any so far though.
it's like a typical twist yet it had it's own unique characteristic to it.
okay.
i not sure wad i'm talking about now. -.-
currently in a "high" state of mood when it comes to the trilogy.

i shall not go on & on about how the story is written or wadever.
i'm most likely talking crap. so ya.
pls jus ignore the previous paragraph XD
now. into the real reason for my current obsession in the book.
the romantic relationships that developed in the book.
AHAHAHAHAHA.
my fav character in the book jus changed.
after reading halfway thru the third book.
and i'm now dangerously close to being besotted by that character.
and of cos it's a guy. XDD
i even shed some tears for him okay. LOL.

made me so ji dong yst night. HAHA.
and now i have trouble doing my work.
Feeling v strongly to reveal who that person is.
but it seems that it'll give away too much about the story.
and des seems to complain about me always spoiling storylines for her.

it's so far the most entertaining book in the series. HAHA.

couldnt stop laughing once i started on it.
They're all so childish that i cant help it. LOL.
feel so pitiful for Gregori, who became the centre of amusment for everyone else.
Mikhail's much more playful than i can imagine. HAHA.

but hmmmm. i still did cry over some parts.

Borrowed 3 books from the library yesterday.
decided to start on another series by Trudi Canavan.
hope that it'll be as nice as the Black Magician Trilogy. HEES.
enjoyed the outing yesterday with bei. XD

Watched the Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
it's a slow paced movie.
slowly revealing the life of a man who was going in the opposite direction from the others.
and apparently, it's not a nice thing to experience.
well, from my own point of view,
i think that this movie seems to appeal to ladies more than men.
yea. think most guys will think that it's a kinda boring movie.
got one guy even laughed at de most emotional part of the movie can. -.-
shou bu liao.
the ending was so sad & emotional and that guy can like laugh.
LOUDLY even. -.-

going to watch Valkyrie with bei. LOL.
it seems that i can expect much from the movie according to des.
